2009-2010 Washington State Almanac

The definitive source of statistical information about Washington State’s 39 counties and 281 cities just got bigger and better.

   Nearly two times larger than previous editions, the Almanac is essential for libraries, businesses, researchers, and students. Anyone needing statistical information about Washington State.
   Drawing on data from fourteen government agencies and private sources, the 2009-2010 Almanac has been expanded from two to four pages of tabular data and graphs for each county. 
   This includes information about population trends and density, land area, retail sales, taxes, personal income, employment, and business.
   In addition to providing data for each county and city, the Almanac compares each county’s data with state averages and ranks all counties or cities for each variable. Graphs of each major indicator provide a quick visual illustration of trends.
   The Almanac is essential for business and government planning and service delivery because it provides decision makers with accurate, objective, and reliable information.
